Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Production

Start of FRP process by Hand Lay up

First, the resin is fully applied to the prepared molds. The mat and the cloth are laminated by turns. Resin is applied for every sheet. Resin became hard completely several hours after.

Hand Lay up Technique

Hand Lay-up is the simplest and most versatile of all FRP manufacturing techniques. Resins are impregnated by hand into fibers (woven, knitted, stitched or bonded fabrics).

A roller is used for compaction of fibre and resin material as well as to create an even and smooth laminate surface. Entrapped air is removed.

Cutting of Mat and Cloth
The glass mat and cloth, which is the material of FRP, are cutting in suitable sizes.
Preparation of Mold
Mold is prepared according to required product design.
